RABBI'S MESSAGE

את הברכה אשר תשמעו-  The Orach Chaim explains that while the bracha that Torah is speaking of here is the blessing we will receive for fulfilling Hashem’s mitzvos, there is an additional bracha found within these four words.  It is a true bracha to be able to listen to someone else.  How often does our mind wander to what we will respond when we hear someone speak.  INstead of engaging with the message of the speaker, we are accustomed to thinking of our response.  One of the blessings that Hashem gives us is the power of listening.  The more we listen to each other, the more our lives can be enhanced, and our feelings validated by one another.  May we internalize this additional bracha which Hashem sends our way regularly.

-It is a pleasure and honor to welcome Rabbi Noson Rich back home to West Orange.  Rabbi Rich’s success in the world of chinuch not only brings tremendous chinuch to his parents, but also to our shul community.

-I will be out of the office until Tuesday August 24th.  Please contact Rabbi Sharbat for any issues that are time sensitive.
