RABBI'S MESSAGE
The Torah commands that we may not have hatred toward our fellow Jew within our heart. Rav Hirsch zt”l points out that the Torah uses the word “brother” in this pasuk in order to teach us an important lesson. He explains that there are moments, based on events or interactions which take place, when we may no longer consider someone else a friend. Nevertheless, even at that time, we must remember that they are still a member of our national family, and that title cannot be lost. May we strive to love each other despite our faults and differences. Good Shabbos!
