New Wines This Year

New this year we are offering the opportunity to purchase a select number of Magnum and Double Magnum bottles.  If you're ever looking for a wow factor at a dinner or Simcha, the presence of a magnum or double magnum on the table will do it.  In addition, these bottles have a longer shelf life since you have twice and four times as much wine with the same amount of air in the bottle.

New wines available this year include:

Stoudemire Origin ($24) - Amare Stoudemire, formerly of the Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks, and now orthodox jew has collaborated with Herzog to come up with a dry red wine that is pleasant to drink.  The label is also very cool, so if there are any basketball fans out there, this wine is for you.  Google Amare and wine baths and you'll find some interesting information.

Baron Herzog Beleaf ($23) - This is a certified organic Cabernet Sauvignon, which is a first for Herzog

Baron Herzog Special Reserve Pinot Noir ($37) - The first reserve Pinot Noir in a while, and this wine will get better over the next few years.

Castel Raziel ($58) - This is the latest offering from Castel, and is a blend of Syrah and Carignan.

Covenant Israel Cabernet Sauvignon ($80) - This is new wine from Covenant Israel.  Pricey, and needs time to age for a few years.

Shiloh Secret Reserve Cabernet Franc ($43) - This is the first Cabernet Franc from Shiloh and if the other Secret Reserves are anything to go by, this will be a winner
