Weekly Bulletin

We are heartbroken as the events continue to unfold in Eretz Yisrael; we turn to Hashem to beseech Him for a refuah for those who are injured, safe return of those taken captive, and yeshuah from this tragedy. We daven for the safety and success of the soldiers and security personnel in Israel, and for the well being of the government of Israel.

This week is Shabbos Breishis, the first Shabbos of the year. Shabbos is when we bring light into the darkness. The zchus of Shmiras Shabbos cannot be overstated. This Shabbos, we will together with communities around the world, add thousands of Minutes of Shmiras Shabbos by together, starting shabbos a few minutes early. We ask that this Shabbos you join us and be mekabel shabbbos 10 minutes early. Many have the custom to add V’zakeini following candle lighting. We have included this special Tefilah here and encourage everyone to add in the merit of those whose children need our tefilos

Many of our brothers and sisters in Israel will be unable to daven this Shabbos. In their zechus, please join us for Kabbalat Shabbat following mincha which begins at 6:05 pm, as we welcome Shabbat with song. 

Rabbi Zwickler will be delivering a drasha in the main shul following davening at approximately 11:30 am, followed by Kiddush. All minyanim are being timed to finish at that time.
