The Yamim Noraim with young children is both exhilarating and challenging. We are pleased to once again offer age appropriate programming for our children, as well as child care during davening.  Any child that can sit with their parents in shul, is encouraged to do so; please purchase seats for your children at the rate above.  The Youth Department will be offering child care as in past years, for children ages 3-12 years old.  If you are interested in a program for your children with similar hours to previous years, please complete this form so that we may plan accordingly.
Kol Hanearim Talit

Welcome to Congregation AABJ&D

Congregation Ahawas Achim B’nai Jacob & David is a vibrant, welcoming, inclusive and growing modern Orthodox congregation that is grounded in Torah observance and encourages an ongoing commitment to spiritual growth, enhanced Shul involvement, support of the State of Israel, and participation in our broader local community.

Under the leadership of Rabbi Eliezer Zwickler and Rabbi Yosef Sharbat, we take pride in our Ashkenazic and Sephardic daily and Shabbat services, Torah learning opportunities, events, and so much more. As the largest Shul in West Orange, NJ, Congregation AABJ&D offers a full range of religious, social and educational programming for individuals and families of all ages.

AABJ&D: A Shul, a Community, a Torah Way of Life.

We invite you to join us for Shabbat, davening, or a program. Come see for yourself what makes West Orange so special.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our shul at the annual Hakarat HaTov dinner. The food was creative and delicious, the program moved at a perfect pace, the Mentalist was fun and entertaining, the emcees were clever and engaging, and the videos were fabulous. Special thanks to the dinner committee for all their hard work making this dinner a success
