Welcome to Congregation AABJ&D

Congregation Ahawas Achim B’nai Jacob & David is a vibrant, welcoming, inclusive and growing modern Orthodox congregation that is grounded in Torah observance and encourages an ongoing commitment to spiritual growth, enhanced Shul involvement, support of the State of Israel, and participation in our broader local community.

Under the leadership of Rabbi Eliezer Zwickler and Rabbi Yosef Sharbat, we take pride in our Ashkenazic and Sephardic daily and Shabbat services, Torah learning opportunities, events, and so much more. As the largest Shul in West Orange, NJ, Congregation AABJ&D offers a full range of religious, social and educational programming for individuals and families of all ages.

AABJ&D: A Shul, a Community, a Torah Way of Life.

We invite you to join us for Shabbat, davening, or a program. Come see for yourself what makes West Orange so special.

#BRINGTHEMHOMENOW

The long and agonizing wait has finally ended  - Welcome Home, Evyatar!

After enduring 738 days of unimaginably brutal captivity in the hands of Hamas terrorists, Evyatar’s return is nothing short of miraculous. We all witnessed through tears of joy as Evyatar emerged from the darkness to begin his path to recovery. Today, we celebrate Evyatar’s safe return to the warm embrace of his family and his country, along with all the other remaining, living hostages. People around the world join in thanking G-d for this extraordinary day, and unite in hope and prayer for lasting peace among nations in the Middle East.
