VIRTUAL AABJ&D

AABJ&D COVID-19 Information

While the AABJ&D building remains closed due to COVID-19, the opportunities to come together as a community are limitless.  Our community was founded on the three pillars of Judaism; Torah, Avodah (prayer), and gemmilut chasadim (acts of kindness). We must continue during this time to act as a community, to daven, to care for each other, and to learn Torah.  Below please find updates and opportunities to come together.  This page will be updated with new items, so please check back often.

AABJ&D Office
If you need to reach the shul office, please free to contact Esther Schultz at eschultz@aabjd.org (office matters) or Esterina Herman at eherman@aabjd.org (financial matters).  You may also leave a message on the office voice mail and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Dumpster for trash
With thanks to Mayor Parisi and the West Orange OEM Task Force, a 30-yard container will be available at the tennis courts at Degnan Park from April 1 through April 7.  The Take Force requests that members maintain six feet of social distancing while approaching the dumpster to place their trash inside and do not use the container as an area for group socializing.  Additionally, please make sure to keep the area clean so as not to make a chilul Hashem when disposing of your chametz.
