.Announcing a NEW BAT MITZVAH Program

Are you preparing for your Bat Mitzvah or just celebrated "the special day", well this is for you!!!!!!

All current 6th grade girls and their mothers who are interested in participating in Bat Mitzvah program which will take place over the next few weeks, please submit your names and e-mail addresses to the office or reply to this email.

Girls who have already celebrated their Bat Mitzvah this year or will in the coming months are eligible to participate in the program.

Stay tuned: a program for current 5th grade girls who will enter 6th grade in September will begin in the Fall. If you fall into this group, please submit your name and email address as well.

Story Hour begins at 10:30 AM, Kindergarten -1st grade (downstairs) begins at 10:00 AM, 2nd Grade (upstairs) begins at 10:00 AM.

·         Jr. NCSY Friday night Oneg 4/20 at the 9:30 PM at the home of Mo & Kayla Safren, 9 Suburban Drive.

·         Jr. NCSY Grand Slam in South Brunswick, NJ – 4/21 from 11 PM to 7 AM – Call Logan or Deborah for details.

·         Sr. NCSY Friday night Oneg 4/20 from 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM hosted by Avi Popack & family at 10 Hoover Avenue.

·         All youth leaders are invited for Shabbat Lunch at Rabbi & Sharon Zwickler’s house on Shabbat 4/28

·         Sr. NCSY Sunday 4/29 Limo Scavenger Hunt. Meet at the shul at 1:30 PM. Parents must pick up their kids from Jerusalem Pizza at 7:00 PM. R.S.V.P. David Teller at 917-613-7443 or Shira Hyman at 248-884-8829.

·         Gym Night this week: please check the youth board for times

·         Calling All Boys in High School: Come on out to the shul on Wednesday night from 9-10:30 PM to get together with friends to play some good B-Ball.

·         The Youth Program runs two Kiddushim each week, one for Teen Minyan and one for all children who attend groups every Shabbat morning.  Please take the opportunity to sponsor a Kiddush in honor of your child's birthday or other memorable occasion. Call Jaicky Tammam at 908-953-5729 or email at tammam@avaya.com

·         Cong. AABJ&D's Cub Scout pack 446 for boys in 1st - 5th grade: Please contact Bruce Bukiet, Matt Greenwood, Barry Schwartz or George Greenfield to find out more.

·         Tuesday - Karate classes (Tora Dojo) for children age 5 & up 6-7 PM & teenagers & adults 7-8 PM. Cost $35 with a discount of $5 for each additional child from the same family. Contact Mark Grebenau.

 

YOUTH ACTIVITIES

Youth Services – Shabbat Morning

Shabbat Morning groups begin at their usual times. Please consult the schedule at the front of the Shul, or upstairs, for exact locations.

 Youth Group Tefilah begins at 10 AM – Attention 4th to 5th graders – if arriving after 10:25 AM please go directly to the basement of Rahel & Tuvia’s house, 710 PVW. – Please go through shul’s back door.

 Every Shabbat – Teen Minyan at 9:30 AM followed by hot kiddush (at Tuvi & Rahel’s) – Anyone interested in sponsoring the teen minyan kiddush ($25) please contact Tuvi & Rahel.

 Mishnayot Shiur for Grades 3-6.

 Afternoon Onegs begin September 17th. Check Shabbat Bulletin for times every other week.

Youth Activities

Gym Night begins Monday (9/12/05) 6:45-8:00 PM for Girls in 4th-5th grade; 8:00-9:15 PM for Boys in 6th-8th grade.

Cub Scouts, grades 1 to 5. Contact Bruce Bukiet or Stanley Mittelman for details.
