Communitywide Tehllim for Israel: To be assigned a chapter of Tehllim please contact Ora Bloom, Debbie Klahr, Sally Malech or Sharon Zwickler.  AABJ&D Sisterhood will recite the entire book of Tehillim.

Shul Dinner.  The 42nd Annual Dinner of our shul, Congregation Ahawas Achim B’nai Jacob & David, will take place on Sunday evening, March 30, 2008. Besides paying tribute to our most deserving honorees, this year’s dinner will mark two important milestones in our history; firstly, the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel, and secondly, the 40th anniversary of Rabbi Alvin and Marylin Marcus’ devotion and commitment to our community. A special homage will be paid to Rabbi and Mrs. Marcus in recognition of their legacy to our shul.
On that special night, we will be honoring three outstanding couples, each of whom has dedicated themselves selflessly to our shul for many years. Our guests of honor will be Bobbi & Michael Luxenberg. The Keter Shem Tov award will be presented to Sheba and Stanley Mittelman and the Young Leadership Award will be presented to  Alyson and Ariel Fournier. (Details & Ad Blanks)

If you are interested in moving to West Orange, please contact the AABJD office at 973 736-1407 or cong.aabjd@verizon.net to learn about our next weekend or to arrange a visit at your convenience.

Young Couples Weekend -- Feb 8-9th, 2008. Join us for a unique opportunity to check out one of the friendliest, most vibrant, full-service, Modern Orthodox communities in the tri-state area, a dynamic community that's large enough to offer top schools, kosher restaurants and all types of services, but small enough to allow a warmth and sense of closeness among its members, young and old. All prospective new members and their families are welcome for a weekend of fun to learn more about West Orange.
