At Congregation AABJ&D, we have established a Jewish Job Network to help our members, as well as others in our community, network and find jobs.  I ask that all who can participate in this new and important endeavor please do so, in one of the following categories:
  • Job-Seekers – those who are looking for work;

  • Networkers – those who have connections, know about job openings, know others in the field, or can expand the networks of Job-Seekers or get them an interview;
  • Advisors – those who can advise/mentor/coach Job-Seekers and help them with résumé writing, interviewing skills, starting a business, providing consulting services, job retraining, financial planning, etc.
If you are looking for work, please do not feel ashamed or embarrassed.  We are here for you as a support network to assist you during these difficult times.  If the Job-Seekers and Networkers and Advisors all pull on the oars together, the ship will continue to move forward as we all help each other.  If you need help with financial planning, Yeshiva tuitions, financial aid, or interest-free loans, the first step is to ask.
If you are a Job-Seeker or if you are interested in becoming either a Networker or an Advisor, please follow the instructions below. If you have any questions, you can contact us at:
May Hashem hear our t’fillos for a return of a parnassah tovah for all those in need.

Pro Bono/Discounted Services and Products
JJN is working hard to provide a variety of necessary services to members of our community who are unemployed, underemployed or otherwise in financial distress.  One area we wish to expand is offering access to pro bono or discounted goods and professional services to members of our community who otherwise could not afford them.
Specifically, JJN is seeking volunteers for pro bono or discounted services in the following fields:
o Medical
o Dental
o Psychological Counseling
o Financial Education
o Tax and Legal Advice
o Credit Advice
o Career Coaching
o Stress Management

Similarly, JJN is looking for volunteers who may be able to provide a variety of consumer goods and products at a discount or free of charge.

JJN has formed a committee to focus on recruiting volunteers to provide these services. Eliane Levy, David Cherna and Yaakov Moradi are leading this effort. If you would like to serve on this committee, please contact Eliane at elianelevy2@ymail.com. If you are in a position to offer these services or products on a pro bono or discounted basis, please send an email to probono@jewishjobnetwork.com. A member of the committee will get in touch you to discuss the details.

As a "flip side" of this service, JJN would also like to help providers of goods and services who are faced with the challenges of the current economic environment to promote and expand sales of their products and services within our community.
If you would like to work with JJN to promote sales of your products or services, please send an email to sales@jewishjobnetwork.com
