The 44^th Annual Dinner of our shul, Congregation Ahawas Achim B’nai Jacob & David, will take place on Sunday evening, March 7, 2010 at the Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel.

 

On this special night, we will be honoring three outstanding couples, each of whom has dedicated themselves selflessly for many years to our shul. Our guests of honor will be Debbie and Rich Finkelstein. The Rabbi Alvin & Marylin Marcus Keter Shem Tov Award will be presented to Linda and Larry Schiffman and Racheli and Shmulie Pineles will receive the Young Leadership Award.  

 

We strongly encourage the entire community to come together for our annual event. Your presence on March 7 not only pays tribute to our deserving honorees, it also recognizes the important role our shul plays in our community and in our lives. In addition to being a truly enjoyable affair, our annual dinner is our largest fundraiser. Your support and partnership in this special event are essential to our ability to maintain and enhance our shul’s services and programming for all ages.

 

This year we will be introducing a new “paperless and eco-friendly” format for our commemorative journal. The entire commemorative journal will be engraved on a DVD and projected on several screens during the event. A copy will be presented to each guest and benefactor at the dinner.   Please find listed below the various level of participation. The deadline for receipt of your ad is February 15, 2010.
