Introducing Rabbi Daniel
Rockoff: Rabbi Rockoff is a native of Newton,
Massachusetts. He attended Maimonides School, and studied at Yeshivat
Shaalvim in Israel. Rabbi Rockoff received his BS in Psychology from
Yeshiva University, Semicha from Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary,
and an MS from the Azrieli School of Jewish Education and Administration. He
is currently pursuing an MA in Bible at the Bernard Revel Graduate School of
Jewish Studies. This year, Rabbi Rockoff will be teaching in the Rae Kushner
Yeshiva High School as a complement to his responsibilities with
Congregation AABJ&D. Before joining us, Rabbi Rockoff served as rabbinic
intern at the Riverdale Jewish Center in NY and at Beth Jacob Congregation
of Beverly Hills, CA, where he was also a Soloveitchik scholar. He also
worked as program coordinator for the Orthodox Union's Department of
Community and Synagogue Services. Rabbi Rockoff enjoys sports of all kinds -
and yes, he is a proud Red Sox fan! As of September 4th, G-d willing, Rabbi
Rockoff will be married to Ayala Zoltan of New Rochelle, NY, a doctoral
candidate in School Psychology at St. John's University.
