Congregation AABJ&D provides a range of learning experiences from beginners to experienced learners, as an individual or as part of a class environment or in a modern lecture setting.

Throughout the year, we provide opportunities to make study part of your day. We offer classes in Chumash, Tanach, Advanced Talmud, Gemara, Practical Halacha as well as a Daf Yomi.  We also have the great privilege  of welcoming to our community, on a regular basis, Harav Hershel  Schachter, shlita, Rosh Kollel, Yeshiva University.

Our Scholar in Residence Program allows the community to spend Shabbat with modern Orthodox visionaries such as:

• Rabbi Menachem Leibtag, Founder of Yeshivat Har Etzion’s Virtual Beit Midrash and the new Tanach Study Center,
• Rav Meir Goldvicht, Prominent Israeli scholar, educator, and a Rosh Yeshiva of YU's Mazer School of Talmudic Studies, and Head of the Stone Beit Medrash Program,
• Harav Aharon Lichtenstein, Rosh Hayeshiva, Yeshivat Har Etzion, Rosh Yeshiva, YU, 
• Rabbi Paysach Krohn, author of the successful Artscroll books: The Maggid Speaks, Around the Maggid’s Table, In the Footsteps of the Maggid, Along the Maggid’s Journey, and most recently, Echoes of the Maggid. He is also a fifth generation Mohel and is the author of Artscroll’s Bris Milah book.
• Rabbi Shimon Altshul,  Director, The Ludwig and Erica Jesselson Institute for Advanced Torah Studies, Bar Ilan University.

Look forward to our very successful Leil Limud Program. Leil Limud is a Friday night in our community when several shiurim simultaneously take place throughout West Orange neighborhoods. The shiurim are given by local synagogue members and are hosted in the homes of shul families. The idea is to bring together friends and neighbors to learn Torah and enjoy the oneg of Shabbat in small, heimishe, and intimate settings.

• 03.18.12 - Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibition

   Congregation AABJ&D is planning a trip to the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition at Discovery Times Square. The exhibition has received rave reviews and contains many important artifacts on loan from the Israel Antiquities Authority. The synagogue will obtain group tickets and provide transportation into the city. Only one bus will be chartered and seats will be on a first come first served basis. The bus will leave at 11:45 AM. Space is limited– Hurry Up and register now on the shul website.
